today is a saturday. no shit. it was rather crap actually... for a saturday that is. i mean, like, wouldn't YOUR saturday be crap too if you woke up at noon, and lunch was straight after brekkie, which was lasagne and pizza [ TOO MUCH ITALIAN FOOD!] and listen to your sister whining about going to chinese school or not... blah blah blah. but there was ONE thing good today.
I WENT TO SEE THE LAKE HOUSE AT TOWERS' CINEMAS WITH STACEY!!!!!
omg omg omg!!! the Lake House ROCKS! trust me, it was better than i expected. the first few bits were kinda confusing really. like, well, im not going to be a spoilsport and give everything away, but the basic plot, is that theres a guy and a girl. apparantly, the girl has been living at this 'Lake House' by herself and her dog, Jack [who is a FEMALE dog, btw] [unless they spell it Jaq, short for Jacqueline or whatever] but anyway, she moves out to Chicago to follow her dream of becoming a doctor. At the same time, she is giving the Lake House away to some new tenant guy so she leaves a letter in the letterbox. He [the new tenant], checks the letterbox, and is suprised to find out that shes lived there for six years. [er.. i think it was six years...= =] anyway, according to him, theres never been anyone living there for years, and he should know that, since his dad was the one who BUILT it. oh, the guys name's Alex Wyler and the girl's name is Kate Forester? summin like that. so, in their letters, Kate apologizes for pawprints on the front porch, and a box in the attic. When Alex checks, theres no pawprints and no box of letters, so he writes back, and tells Kate about it. The thing is, the two realise something pretty quickly. Kate, when she is writing the letters, is living in 2006. Alex, on the other hand, is rennovating his father's lake house [and living there] in 2004. They are two years apart, yet they fall in love, only through letters, and Alex soon finds out that he has actually MET Kate before, yet she hadn't realised.
Oh yeh, and theres two fags in the movie. one: Morgan - aka Kate's boyf. he's a frikin idiot. dont like him at all. and Mona - aka Alex's girlf [well, she acts like it] but shes like a frikin slut. she goes on building sites in frikin HIGH HEELS. what an idiot. AND when Alex tells her to get boots more suitable for the building sites, she gets designer boots. oh haha. HIGHLY amused.
anyway, its SO sweet ^^ its the best romance movie EVER watched. made me cry twice... = =
aww... <33
oh and at the end, theres a LOT of kissing and stuff. a LOT. lasted bout 30 seconds i think... = = guh-ross. i mean like, yeh, theyr in love and all, but come on! its rated frikin PG! so at the end, me and stacey were like, OK OK! we get the frikin idea! break it up!!
ahaha. at the end, we stayed till all the credits finished, and we realised that we were the only two left in the cinema xDD. oh yeh, and did i mention that we stole two random peoples seats? like, u noe know we have allocated seating at towers.... we were supposed to be in row J but we ended up moving back xDD. go us! we got good seats. xP.
ill try find a pikk of the Lake House stuff and put it on here. It's SO cool! and its practically all based on TIME! teehee ^^ even better, hey YA! ? so yeh. watch it. seriously.
oh and stacey, if you're reading this, when you get the soundtrack... burn me a copy?
